Training Workers to Advance Grant 2 (TWA-2)
Huron County is fortunate to be one of a few counties that have access to a unique program that pays for approximately 75% of the approved training costs. This program initially goes through a local approval process. Most of the grant applications that were approved received formal approval within 2 weeks. This program targets incumbent and dislocated workers being trained in any of the four areas: Manufacturing, Health Care, Technology and Advanced Energy. TWA-2 has already been utilized by several area employers and is available until June 30, 2011 or until funds run out. Most applications only take an hour to complete the general information and we will walk you through the process. Call today for more information on this very ‘user-friendly’ program: 419-668-9858.
