The Norwalk Economic Development Corporation was created in 2002 by a dedicated group of innovative business leaders and public officials and began operations in July 2003.

As a public-private partnership, the mission of the Norwalk Economic Development Corporation is to foster a strong economic environment that supports businesses, nurtures growth and promotes stability in the marketplace.
